Build Your List With Article Marketing

Filed under: Better Marketing @ 6:22 pm

If you do not give reason to come back and revisit your website, the average person will not repeat their visit. As most people search the internet without a whole lot of planning or method, it can be easy for them to forget where they were ten pages ago. A traffic rate of 1,000 visitors might come visit your website and that would be fantastic, but you lose a good deal of potential revenue if those visitors never come back. If you had planned well, some of those visitors could have become customers. The most successful website owners know that they must have their customers sign up for a mailing list in order to get them to revisit their website.

No matter how unique the content of your website might be, it will not be enough to get people to return to your website by itself. If you really want to have your visitors return to your website, the best way to do this is by having them subscribe to your mailing list. A mailing list should be something that a visitor should opt-in easily before departing the website. Email addresses and names are gathered on the opt-in form.

If your visitor signs up to be on your mailing list, you can continue to follow up with him or her through email. You should use these as a tool to attempt to get the visitor to consider your product again, or to attempt to get them to consider a new product. These new subscribers hold a very real possibility of becoming paying customers, which will increase your profits.

One way to build your list is to write articles. The web is full of popular article directories, one of which is eZine articles, where people write and submit articles on a variety of topics. Viral marketing can be rewarding when done through article writing. In the real sense, you are actually proving your worth and demonstrating your expertise about your business through the articles you write.

A valuable tool to the articles is the resource box because it will allow you to build your mailing list. This resource is also called a bio box, because its main goal is to include as much information about yourself and your website as possible, including your site’s URL. As the point of the article was to get more subscribers to your mailing list, your URL should point to the landing page where new visitors can subscribe to the mailing list. The resource box will send many curious visitors your way once eZine publishers have approved the article. That will result in a highly easy viral marketing plan. This is very simple but effective method of having your details attached to every article you write.
