Upcoming Car Auction - Guide Only

Evaluate The Upcoming Car Auction

Hands down.. Let’s face it, auctioneer can be fickle sometimes. The American car-buying public is notorious for wanting the trendiest vehicles with the lowest sticker prices. Take an honest look at the marketability of the car that the auctioneer are selling. If it’s a popular make and model, you’ll probably buy the car quickly. If not, be prepared to do a little research to find the best markets for the particular car.

Remember the Chevrolet or the Ford? Those vehicles, and others that have fallen out of favor, may be next to unfavorable to buy unless you the auctioneer offer it with the lowest sticker prices.

Compact economy auction car may be hot tickets if you happen to live around a college campus; army type auction cars may sell best near a military facility; station wagons may attract an interested buyer in a bedroom communities; and ragtops will sell better at the beach.

Diecast Diecast Dave

Dave my mate is an avid colletor of diecast cars - he has so many now its almost silly - I go round his house to play ps2 and all I get is “wait a minute I am just going to move my diecast bugatti over there” or “wait thats a priceless diecast dude” - he is quite a moaner - Sometimes I feel like throwing them all away for him so he can get a life - because diecast toy cars are no life for an 18 year old - he should be doing fun stuff like driving a bugatti - not owning a little metal model of it thats badly painted by some chinese slave labour?

Selling on Ebay-Get Started in 7 Easy Steps

Filed under: Auctions + Sales @ 4:27 pm

Ebay auctions are definitely the easiest and fastest way to start earning money online. Ebay.com gets over 1.5 billion page views every month-that means ebay takes care of the single biggest problem all internet business owners face-traffic.

With over 9,000 new users registering on ebay every day there’s not likely to be a slow down to your business-if you know how to get started. Follow these easy steps to put you on the road to online profits today.

#1: Get an Ebay.com Selling Account, it’s free and easy.

#2: Decide what you’re going to sell. For starters it’s a good idea to look around your garage or attic, or that closet full of baby clothes that your little one has out grown.

Baby clothes sell very well on ebay.com-just do a search at ebay.com for “baby clothes” then look at the completed listings for an idea of what sells. Also note the starting bid and shipping costs.

To make a full time business from ebay.com auctions you’ll want to expand, but this is a great way to “get the feel” for what sells and how to place a listing.

#3: Take pictures. The old saying “a picture is worth a thousand words” has never been more true or more important than it will be to your auction. Without a picture It’s very unlikely your auction will get any bids.

Use a digital camera or scan pictures into your computer. You can upload a free picture for each listing. For any more pictures you’ll have to pay Ebay.com a few cents to “host” your pictures, or you can have your pictures hosted at a picture hosting website for a small fee.

#4: Making your listing. This is one of the most important steps of your auction. Log into your account at Ebay.com and it is pretty simple to follow the directions. If you make a mistake in your listing it is possible to go back and edit the listing after you’ve submitted all the information.

Using html to enhance your listing shows the buyer that you take their bid serious. It can increase the number of bids on your auction. Be sure to research similar auctions and notice when they started and ended. Try to list your auction close to the same times for best results.

Take note of the starting bids in similar auctions as well. Usually people come to ebay.com to find a good deal, so start the bid at a comparable price.

#5: Answering bidder’s questions. Sometimes the potential bidder will have a question to ask the seller. Ebay.com has made this very easy. The Bidder posts their question and ebay.com sends an email message to the seller without disclosing your email address to the bidder.

Answering these questions as soon as possible is important to the response of your bidding. Remember this is a potential buyer who has done a search for your item at ebay.com. Their intent is to buy the type of item you are selling. Treat them like a paying customer.

#6: Accepting Payment. There are several ways to receive payment from the bidder after the auction ends. One of the most popular ways is by accepting credit cards through PapPal.com. It is free to set up an account and there are no set up fees for accepting payment.

The seller could also send you a check or if you prefer not to wait until the check clears you could ask that they send a money order instead. State in your auction description how soon you accept to receive payment after the auction ends.

#7: Shipping. Ebay.com has made it easy when you make your listing to put a “shipping calculator” on your auction. All the bidder has to do is enter their zip code within the U.S. and the calculator will give them a shipping price for shipping through U.S.P.S. Or you can state a specific shipping price in your auction description.

Package your items carefully and be sure to put a return address on the box. Also include a note requesting feed back for the transaction.

There are several ways to increase the bid amount on individual auctions, as well as find things to sell as a long term income stream for further auctions.

Small but Cheap? Daihatsu Charade

Filed under: Bloggers, Auctions + Sales, Blogroll @ 10:17 am

If you are the sort of person who is short but likes cheap things and economic savings then I would thoroughly recommend you think about used daihatsu charade’s for sale. I picked one up at a Used Daihatsu Auction about 20 days ago and it is my new favourite toy - mainly because it was so cheap to buy I had enough money left to stick a spoiler on it and buy a whole new soundsystem that is so loud it shakes the small daihatsu’s car windows - even the windscreen - pretty cool eh? So if you haven’t got a ton of cash or you just want a solid cheap small car to run then its all about the daihatsu charade sale its well worth sticking around and finding a decent one that is cheap and in good nick - will save you later on!

Politically Pink

Now currently in the lime light, political parties are keen to make their mark on the world, sponsored by rich governess’s and wealthy people there are thousands of political ways to spin the news and public opinion of them. One of the big examples is the way cars, film, celebrity are all used to edit the public opinion. Some people use crazy things like pink cars to inspire belief in their systems and ideas. Some politicians don’t quite follow this “nice car” way of doing politics and instead they go for big engine used cars for sale and often choose more American or nationally accepted models over their pink mini equivalents.

What Alfa do you drive (Alfa Romeos)

I personally drive an alfa romeo gtv, the car I dreamed about as a kid. Almost a mini ferrari if you will. I brought my used alfa romeo gtv for about 3 grand and I have never regretted it. I looked at about 10 before I settled on a single alfa romeo, I looked at alfa tsparks for sale, alfa 157s,156s,147s and even an brand new alfa 8c. The gtv was the best mixture of passion, price and speed though - the car is fast - 3.0 petrol fast. I have never regretted buying my alfa romeo, so neither should you - go buy an alfa romeo today or risk loosing your youth in a puff of grey smoke! - Its all about the alfa (alfa romeos.)

Collect this

My nan is round because its christmas, but all she goes on about is collectable stuff - I mean I am 21 I don’t really care about wade or collectable coins. So it has been boring, until I turned on the net on my laptop and typed in collectables for her. I found out that there is a huge following for collectables online and wade and collectable coins for sale are actually pretty huge. Wade doesn’t appeal to me half as much as coin buying though I have to say - Coins are a lot cooler as a collectable and building a good collection would then actually be worth a good lump of cash afterwards! turns out my nan is cool, as is collecting coins!!!!

Little Soldier Collectables: Warhammer

My kid has been collecting warhammer collectables for ages, probably 6 months, but already he has amassed a bedroom full of them and an army of over 500 different soldiers. These little 2 inch warhammer collectables are pretty cool looking and take hours for him to paint, all round they are pretty good collectable toys to buy a kid - theres not a downside to them!
