Nutritional Factors Affecting Gout

Gout is a very painful and debilitating disease. Gout has been recognised as a disease since ancient times, and a link with nutrition has always been assumed. Journals from the 16th century, for example, describe gout as a disease of ‘overindulgent lifestyle’. Luckily it can be partially controlled by the your diet. Gout is caused by hyperurecemia, due to an increased level of uric acid in the bloodstream resulting from the body’s inability to get rid of this acid. This causes the uric acid to form tiny crystals in the joints of the big toe. When the levels of uric acid in the blood get to be too high, sharp crystals of uric acid can accumulate between joints and cause the reddened inflammation known as gout. The first step to get rid of gout has to be an accurate diagnosis of gout. Only when a correct diagnosis of gout is made, then the right treatment can be given. Having a well planned gout diet is foremost if you are suffering from gout.

It may be an oversimplification to advise gout sufferers to keep away from excess protein, even though the foods mentioned above are mainly proteins. Recent studies have not established a direct relationship between uric acid levels and protein intake; indeed dairy foods appear to lower blood urate levels.

Make it a game; find a performance filled life that to you seams to be fulfilling. How can it be how does that person live and create that for themselves. Really look deep and see the joy and happiness. Remember this is a game have fun doing it.

This is important, now that you have looked outside your self and found a performance filled life look inside deep inside yourself. Do not compare yourself to others but take an honest look deep with in your self and find the joy and happiness.

The key here is to look internally and find what moves you what motivates you at your core level. While you are searching within do not compare your self to outside influences. All the answers that you will ever need are within you.

Always keep the comparisons internal. We (ourselves) are the answer to that ideal life that we seek. By doing that we can truly grasp our strengths and weaknesses and at this point we can work on the areas that will give us the best results. We stay motivated by knowing that it is with in our control that we can change what needs to be changed to enrich our lives.

We are also able to truly see growth when we measure ourselves. This is internal comparison.

We tend to look at ourselves critically and look at others for their highlights (we don’t see them as critically as we do our selves). We need to lighten up on ourselves and allow ourselves to be human.

Performance based lifestyle starts with a decision a simple decision. We internally decide and commit to experiencing life on higher levels. We actively participate in guiding our lives becoming more and being more.

What kind of whey protein supplement should I use?

Filed under: Nutrition Center, World Of Health @ 11:04 pm

A friend of mine keeps asking me what kind of whey protein powder I use to get the results I do. I thought I’d share my observations on this subject with everyone. The theories on this seem to be never-ending. For me, personally, I see whey protein supplementation as exactly that, supplementation. I told my friend that he really needs to focus on eating as healthy as possible and focus on nutrition, not calories. Just taking in loads of protein, no matter what kind it is won’t give him what he is looking for unless he is ready to train like some sort of raging barbarian. However, if he stops eating the wrong foods and using protein powder as a supplement, plus trains reasonably well, then he would start to see the results.

You see, my results don’t come from a protein powder, creatine or anything else. They come from a holistic approach, its diet, training and supplementation. Once you get the diet down cold, and then just pick a supplement you think taste good, or are priced right, because they are supplements. Sure, one might have a higher this or that. However, it doesn’t matter if your diet is poor.

A report on kelp health benefits from the International seaweed symposium stated “In all patients there was a spectacular drop in incidence of colds and flu’s resulting in a very positive kelp health benefit” from ingesting liquid kelp. In those that had already contracted the virus, the intensity and duration were so reduced that the annoyance was minimal due to the kelp health benefits of liquid kelp.

An array of mineral content will help strengthen bones, nails and is natural rejuvenator of skin and an anti-aging revitalizer for the skin. True providence has placed the kelp health benefit in our hands. Breast Cancer: The Connection of Iodine, Thyroid Problems altered by Kelp Health Benefits
Breast cancer is one of the most familiar health risks women face, that can see a kelp health benefit. Mortality rates have not changed significantly since records started to be kept in the 1920s. Surgery, chemotherapy, mammography, and radiation have not altered the mortality rate. Eighty five percent of women who develop breast cancer will die of causes directly related to breast cancer. (Source: Dr. David Derry) As breast cancer rates across the country continue to increase, more people are interested in early intervention or prevention. Dr. Deny’s theories, based on extensive review of published medical literature in combination with his experience as a clinician, are not his alone. In fact, research is already underway on the impact of iodine on cancer prevention and reduction-a VERY important kelp health benefit. Dr. Derry proposes supporting the body’s natural immune system and metabolic health with proper thyroid levels, and combining that with the intake of a small daily dose of iodine-another Kelp Health Benefit.

FORGOTTEN KELP HEALTH BENEFITS
In February of this year health researchers at UCLA Berkeley(1), called for a dramatic increase in scientific research into kelp health benefits after Discovering that a diet containing kelp may decrease the risk of estrogen-dependent Diseases in humans, such as breast cancer”
